Karstcountry – It can be said that the physical appearance of the Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro is similar to a full mechanical keyboard in general. With the overall black color, the look of the Blackwidow V3 Pro is quite luxurious. On top of that, this keyboard frame is made with aluminum construction so that it is strong enough to be used for a long time plus a clean matte finish. For its keycaps, Blackwidow V3 Pro uses Doubleshot ABS with a dual printing process to ensure labeling is never lost. The key caps also have extra thick walls that make them extremely tough to withstand prolonged repeated use.
In the top right corner, there are four media buttons to adjust music, from Play, Pause, Skip and Volume. The volume knob can even be played, like the volume knob on the radio in the old days. Blackwidow V3 Pro is also equipped with Razer Chroma RGB, which unfortunately can only be customized with the Synapse 3 application (will be discussed separately). Aside from the simple yet luxurious design, the Blackwidow V3 Pro actually weighs heavily. Maybe it’s all the result of the aluminum construction frame that is a solid base for this keyboard. But for those of you who do not carry a keyboard anywhere, it should not be too much of a headache for you, huh.
For connectivity, Blackwidow V3 Pro offers 3 different ways of use, namely via cable, wireless and also Bluetooth. For cables, the Blackwidow V3 Pro is equipped with a USB Type A to Type C cable up to 2 meters long. The cable material is also my favorite type of cable, namely Soft Wire which is similar to shoelaces.
Apart from cables, there is also a dongle as another option to connect the keyboard to your computer or laptop. With Hyperspeed Wireless technology, Blackwidow V3 Pro is very comfortable to use, even without cables. For the dongle itself, with a speed of 2.4 Ghz, it makes it easier for users to quickly connect the connection between the keyboard and computer. With a dongle, users can also move the keyboard from one computer to another by moving the dongle to another computer. On the left side of the keyboard there is a switch to change the connection between Bluetooth or 2.4 Ghz wireless. But for wireless or Bluetooth use, you should also note the battery power.
If the battery of this keyboard drops the number 5%, you can be sure that every button you press experiences a delay. In addition, there is a dim light indicating that this keyboard has turned on Low battery mode. When this happens, you need to prepare the cable and start using the cable mode so that it does not affect your activities.
Wrist rest soft and comfortable
When I opened the Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro box for the first time, I was immediately attracted by the wrist rest in the package. Blackwidow V3 Pro does offer wrist support in the package. The wrist rest is very luxuriously designed with the driversrazer logo in the middle, but what makes it even better is the soft filling wrapped in leather. Unlike other mechanical keyboards, the wrist rest of the Blackwidow V3 Pro is very soft and naturally comfortable. Some people are usually very irritated about the wrist rest, but I find it really comfortable to use. As the name suggests, our wrists can really be ‘rested’ by this wrist rest. You do not have to worry about using it for long. This is because the soft cushions make our wrists comfortable, even if we use the keyboard for a long time.
